The Edgemont administration has been hard at work on the budget for school year 2023-2024. One thing to note: the proposed budget is at the maximum allowable tax levy. It does not exceed the 2% tax cap mandated by New York State. For more details on the budget, click here.
The Edgemont Community Council is pleased to advise you of the Edgemont PTSA/PTA’s online Edgemont Budget Q&A session on Monday, March 13 at 7pm. The PTSA/PTA is presenting a (virtual) question and answer session focused on the District’s proposed budget and fiscal plan for academic excellence. Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton, Superintendent of Schools, Bryan Paul, Assistant Superintendent for Administration and Business, and Dr. Jeanette Baubles, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, will be available to discuss the administrative budget proposal for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Note: It is highly recommended that attendees watch the budget presentations made at the public Board of Education meetings before this Q&A session. Past budget presentations and the corresponding budget information can be found on the Budget Information website. Additional information will be populated in the website over the coming weeks.
The vote on next year’s budget will take place Tuesday, May 16; please mark your calendars.
