The Edgemont Community Council cordially invites you to attend its Annual Meeting Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 at 8:00PM in the Seely Place Elementary School APR, 51 Seely Place, Scarsdale, NY. We will begin our 78th year of service to the Edgemont community. On the agenda for the April 30th meeting are the President’s Report, the approval of minutes from the 77th Annual Meeting, the Treasurer’s Annual Report, the election of Officers and Directors of the ECC for 2025-2026, the election of SBNC Representatives, the presentation of the Silver Bowl Award for service to our community, and a guest speaker. Please join us for coffee and dessert between 7:30 and 8:00 PM.

This year, the ECC will bestow its Silver Bowl award for distinguished community service to the Edgemont community to Cotswold resident Pamela Borgeson Montgomery. It is our great honor to recognize Pamela for her 17 years of service to Edgemont, including serving as Treasurer of the PTA, Co-President of the PTSA, Secretary and Vice President of the Edgemont Community Council, and a three-year member of the Board of Education.

This year’s guest speaker is Tim Foley. Tim Foley is a dedicated housing advocate and CEO of the Building & Realty Institute (BRI), where he spearheads Welcome Home Westchester, a multi-stakeholder campaign reshaping the conversation around housing policy in the county. Under his leadership, the initiative has united developers, economic leaders, nonprofits, and community advocates to advance data-driven solutions that expand housing opportunities. For his work with BRI, Tim was named one of the “Top CEOs and Business Leaders” by 914Inc. Magazine in 2023. Recently, the BRI has released a report on the impact of multi-family housing development on school district enrollment. Before leading BRI, he was the Communications Director for Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, where he played a key role in policy efforts to combat gun violence, support working families, and fight for tax fairness. Prior to that, he worked for the SEIU Connecticut State Council and the Committee of Interns and Residents-SEIU, leading efforts on housing affordability, paid sick leave, health care access, and economic justice at the local, state, and national levels. With a background in union organizing, legislative affairs, and public policy, Tim has spent his career fighting for working families, affordable housing, and economic justice.
