ECC Applauds Assemblymember Amy Paulin for Working to Address Illegal Marijuana Sales by Smoke Shops and Convenience Stores

Edgemont’s new Assemblymember Amy Paulin is already working to address concerns raised by residents of Edgemont. Her new bill idea came directly as a result of advocacy from the Edgemont Community Council against the rise of illegal marijuana sales by Smoke Shops and Convenience Stores, most significantly in close proximity to our schools.

Residents should continue to contact the Edgemont Community Council whenever there are issues they feel are impacting the quality of life in Edgemont by reaching out to us at President@EdgemontECC.org. The ECC will then take up these issues at our monthly meetings and work to advocate to our partners at the Town, County and State levels to promote the general welfare of the Edgemont community.
