ECC to Award 2022 Silver Bowl for Distinguished Community Service to Jon Faust

The Edgemont Community Council Silver Bowl Award for Distinguished Community Service has been awarded almost every year since 1950. The ECC’s Silver Bowl Committee this year recommended that we present this year’s Silver Bowl to Ferndale Road resident Jon Faust.

Jon lived in Scarsdale as a baby and attended Mamaroneck High School (1986), the University of Michigan Honors College (1990) and Columbia Law School (1993).

Between 2014 and 2020, Jon was a member of the Edgemont School Board and from 2018-2019, he served as school board president. Jon has also served on the Greenville Fire District’s board of commissioners since 2010 and has been a volunteer firefighter in the district for 17 years. Additionally, Jon is a former Director of the Edgemont Community Council and has coached many lacrosse and soccer teams.

Professionally Jon is General Counsel of NYC Alliance and it’s related entities — vertically integrated, multi-channel apparel companies. Jon handles all manner of commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, transactional work, employment issues, real estate matters and intellectual property management. Jon also provides proactive and practical business counseling and strategic/tactical advice to the commercial departments across the broad range of issues they face. Jon is results oriented and combines legal expertise with sensitivity to business imperatives and practical solutions.
