ECC & Town of Greenburgh Host Old Army Road Sidewalk (TAP Grant) Project Community Info Session - 2/5 at 7:30PM

The Edgemont Community Council (ECC) and the Town of Greenburgh will be cohosting a community update and presentation on the Old Army Road Sidewalk Project, a $4.8 million Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant–funded initiative awarded to the Town in 2024. The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 5 at 7:30 PM in the Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School Library.

Engineering design work for new sidewalks, ramps, and crosswalks along Old Army Road has been underway for nearly a year. This meeting will provide the community with an update on the proposed design, process, and timeline, and provide an opportunity to offer feedback before plans are finalized.

Joining the meeting will be:
⮚ Garrett Duquesne, Commissioner of Community Development & Conservation
⮚ Rich Fon – Commissioner of Public Works
⮚ Peter Christiano, PE – Barton & LoGuidice (Consulting Engineer)
⮚ Tom Baird, PE – Barton & LoGuidice (Consulting Engineer)

Residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project and next steps. The ECC looks forward to hearing directly from residents and continuing to work with the Town to advance safety, accessibility, and thoughtful community-driven improvements.

Sincerely,
Dylan F. Pyne
President, The Edgemont Community Council
