There is an election for Supervisor of Greenburgh this Tuesday(11/5) and everyone is encouraged to vote. To the best of our recollection, this is the first contested general election in Greenburgh for town supervisor since 2003, when Edgemont resident and former ECC president Jim Lasser ran as a Republican. This year, another Edgemont resident, Lucas Cioffi, is running as an Independent against 28-year incumbent Paul Feiner. Because this is a general election contest, for the first time since 2003, all persons eligible to vote, regardless of their party registration, can help choose Greenburgh’s next town supervisor.
Also note this is the first year that NY State allows early voting. If you can’t make it to the polls on Tuesday, you can vote on Saturday or Sunday from 12-5 at Greenburgh Town Hall.
