On Tuesday, May 20, 2025 the Edgemont community came out in force to participate in the school district vote.
Edgemont voters approved the proposed 2025-2026 school district budget. Vote totals follow:
Yes: 1,285 (80%)
No: 331 (20%)
In addition, one incumbent School Board Trustee, current Vice President Grace Lin, and two new community members, Mark Fleischhauer and Elyse Paidas, were elected to three-year trustee positions on the Board of Education, starting July 1, 2025. The three incoming trustees were the three SBNC-recommended candidates in this election. Vote totals follow:

Mark Fleischhauer (1,153 Votes)
Jeffrey Blank (560 Votes)
Lucas Cioffi (538 Votes)
Elyse Paidas (1,044 Votes)
Nareen Jabbour (384 Votes)
There were three write-in votes for candidates other than those mentioned above.
The Edgemont Community Council looks forward to continued collaboration with the School District administration, Grace, Mark, Elyse, and the continuing members of the Board of Education to support and advance the interests of all Edgemont residents.
