Greenburgh Town Board Public Hearing 9/25 on Proposed Accessory Dwelling Unit Local Law

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 7:30 P.M at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue, Greenburgh, New York, 10607, the Greenburgh Town Board will hold a Public Hearing to consider a local law entitled “Accessory Dwelling Units” amending Section 285-5 of the Code of the Town of Greenburgh entitled, “Definitions;” Section 285-10, entitled “One-Family Residence District,” Section 285-36 entitled, “Supplementary use regulations;” Section 285-38 entitled, “Off-street parking, loading, and landscaping requirements,” and Section 285-39 entitled, “Lot and bulk requirements” in the Code of the Town of Greenburgh.

The local law, if approved, would regulate and permit Accessory Dwelling Units in the One-Family Residence Districts, by Special Permit.
