UPDATE: Water Main Repairs Targeted by 5PM Today – Boil Water Advisory Continues

Dear Edgemont Community,

We are sharing an important update from the Town of Greenburgh regarding the ongoing water main repairs and the Boil Water Advisory.

The Town has advised that repairs have now been completed, and water service is currently being gradually restored to affected households. This phased restoration is intentional and necessary to avoid overwhelming the system and to ensure safe and stable water service as pressure returns.

The Boil Water Advisory applies to all residents, businesses, and schools who experienced no water, low water pressure, or discolored water at any point since the water main breaks occurred. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice and for at least 24 hours after repairs are completed, pending required water quality testing and official clearance.

If you are unsure whether the advisory applies to you, the Town and County recommend erring on the side of caution and using boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and washing dishes by hand.

Town officials have expressed appreciation for the community’s patience as crews work diligently to complete repairs and restore safe, clean water service. The ECC will continue to share updates as they are provided to us.

Sincerely,
Dylan F. Pyne
President, The Edgemont Community Council
