The Annual Election of the Greenville Fire District will take place today, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. at Greenville Fire District Headquarters, 711 Central Park Avenue, Scarsdale (across from Frank & Joe’s Deli), for the purpose of electing:
One commissioner for a FIVE year term, commencing on January 1, 2024 and ending on December 31, 2028.
Incumbent Greenville Fire Commissioner Michael Rappe is running unopposed for a third five-year term.
Voting will take place on the lower level of the fire house with handicapped accessibility from the rear parking area.
Edgemont is defined by its school district and its fire district. A large voter turnout in Edgemont, even where the election for fire commissioner is uncontested, will send a strong message that Edgemont fully supports its fire district.
All duly registered residents of the Greenville Fire District as of November 20, 2023 shall be eligible to vote.
