Dear Edgemont Community,
The Westchester County Health Department has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for all affected areas in the Town of Greenburgh served by Greenburgh Consolidated Water District #1, following satisfactory water quality test results.
Residents and businesses in the impacted areas may now resume normal use of tap water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and washing dishes.
The Edgemont Community Council is also aware of a minor water main break that occurred earlier this morning at the intersection of Underhill Road and Clayton Road. Greenburgh DPW has confirmed that the break has already been repaired, and any service disruptions related to it should be fully resolved within the next couple of hours.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Greenburgh Consolidated Water District #1 at (914) 989-1900 or the Westchester County Health Department at (914) 813-5000.
Sincerely,
Dylan F. Pyne
President, The Edgemont Community Council
