Dear Edgemont Community,
Our effort to advocate for improved road and pedestrian safety is entering its second phase. This is our largest community engagement project in recent years, and you (plus any of your students at the Jr./Sr. High School) are invited to participate. It will be both fun and productive.
In the first phase, 180 residents responded to our community-wide survey and identified safety hazards and opportunities which we have now plotted on this interactive map.
In this second phase, you will get a chance to speak live on Zoom with your neighbors, prioritize the list of hazards and opportunities to be addressed, and brainstorm potential solutions. Each session will focus on the roads in one specific neighborhood in Edgemont, and you are invited to join any of these sessions regardless of where you live. Please visit this page to register for these sessions. Following these sessions, we will have some specific sessions dedicated to the major roads that cut through multiple neighborhoods.
We appreciate the community’s continued participation in this initiative. Please reach out if you have any questions or feedback.
Sincerely,
Dylan Pyne
President, The Edgemont Community Council
