The Greenville Fire District will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2027 budget, Tuesday, October 20, at 6:30 PM, at Fire District Headquarters, 711 Central Park Avenue (across from Frank and Joe’s).

– 2027 Proposed Tax Levy: $14.4 million, an increase of approximately 8.8% over the 2026 Tax Levy.
– Impact on Edgemont Residents: Greenville Fire District taxes currently account for approximately 12% of Edgemont homeowners’ total property tax bills.
The hearing is an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposed budget, ask questions, and provide feedback directly to the Board of Fire Commissioners.
