The November monthly meeting of the Edgemont Community Council will be held tonight at 8 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge of the Edgemont Junior/Senior High School.
Tonight’s agenda includes discussion of Town Supervisor Paul Feiner’s proposed tax hike for 2015 of 2.58%, the sudden drawdown of 40% of Town reserves for judgments to replenish town fund balance to pay for it, the postponement of the auction to sell Frank’s Nursery because of unquantifiable environmental risks, Mr. Feiner’s sudden turnaround on sidewalks for Seely Place and Fort Hill Road and whether that will mean anything, the huge tax cert filed by Midway, and the Town’s support for new legislation to restrict massage parlors.
All are welcome.
