Vote Today: Edgemont School Budget & Trustee Election (6 AM–9 PM)

Polls are open today, Tuesday, May 20, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the San Marco Gym at Edgemont High School for the annual School District operating budget and school trustee vote.

Voters will be asked to weigh in on two important items:
First, a single proposition outlining the proposed $73,994,549 school budget for the 2025–2026 school year and a tax levy of $62,059,429 to support it. A summary of the budget is available here, and more detailed information — including the full budget book, presentations, and Board of Education meeting videos — is available here.

Second, voters will elect three members to the seven-member Edgemont Board of Education. The candidates, listed in the order they appear on the ballot, are:
1) Grace Lin (SBNC-Recommended)
2) Mark Fleischhauer (SBNC-Recommended)
3) Jeffrey Blank (Independent)
4) Lucas Cioffi (Independent)
5) Elyse Paidas (SBNC-Recommended)
6) Nareen Jabbour (Independent)

The newly elected trustees will serve three-year terms beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2028.

If you still have an absentee ballot, it must be received by the District Office (300 White Oak Lane, Scarsdale) by 5:00 p.m. today.
