On Wednesday, May 15th at 8PM the Edgemont Community Council will host via Zoom an informational School District Voter Forum for the community to learn more about the annual budget, the capital bond, and the school board candidates, all of which will be up for a vote during the May 21, 2024 School District election.
Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Hamilton, Assistant Superintendent Bryan Paul, and School Board President Mariquita Blumberg will discuss key components of the annual budget and capital bond. This is an opportunity for community members to ask clarifying questions about the annual budget and capital bond to ensure understanding by the voting community prior to voting on the measures. The design and elements of the annual budget and capital bond have been proposed and approved by the School Board and are final – there are no changes that can be made at this time. Previous community forums and board meetings offered an opportunity for more detailed community questions and feedback on both the bond and the budget.
Additionally, two candidates are running for two open seats on the School Board, Josefine Teneback Cays and Ami Patel Song, both who received the recommendation of the School Board Nominating Committee (SBNC).

If you are not registered to vote, interested voters living in the Edgemont School District MUST register on or before May 13, 2024 to vote in the May 21, 2024 school district election.
Voter registration will take place at the Central Office, 300 White Oak Lane, Scarsdale, New York, on Monday, May 13, 2024 between the hours of 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
If you are already registered to vote at an address within the Edgemont School District, you do not need to re-register and are eligible to vote on May 21, 2024. To learn more about the voter registration and absentee ballot process please visit this page.
