1. When do I need to register in order to vote in the 2024 school election?
If you are already registered to vote at an address within the Edgemont School District, you do not need to re-register and are eligible to vote on May 21, 2024.
If you are not registered to vote, interested voters living in the Edgemont School District MUST register on or before May 13, 2024 to vote in the May 21, 2024 school board election.
Voter registration will take place at the Central Office, 300 White Oak Lane, Scarsdale, New York, on Monday, May 13, 2024 between the hours of 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
2. When may I apply for an absentee ballot?
Applications for absentee ballots will be obtainable during school business hours from the District Clerk in the Central Office beginning April 22, 2024.
Completed applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter or his/her designated agent.
3. When may I apply for an early mail ballot?

4. When are absentee and early mail ballots due back to the school district?

5. When is the actual budget vote and Trustee election?
The election will be held on May 21, 2024 between the hours of 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM, prevailing time, in the Jim San Marco Gymnasium at Edgemont Junior-Senior High School.
6. What will I be voting on?
The annual budget of the School District for the fiscal year 2024-2025 and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District.
Two (2) members of the Board of Education for three-year terms commencing July 1, 2024 and expiring on June 30, 2027.
A capital improvement project bond.
