Attention New Edgemont Residents – Last week you should have received a letter from the Western Suffolk BOCES which included a New Resident Survey. This letter was mailed on behalf of the School District. If you have not already done so, please fill out this survey and mail it back in the included envelope as soon as possible. Additional information on this survey can be found in the communication from Superintendent Hamilton, which is reprinted below.

The Edgemont UFSD is in the process of conducting a demographic study. This study will help the district gather pertinent information that informs long-term planning. We are working with the Western Suffolk BOCES, which is a cooperative educational service provider to local school districts. They are conducting the study on our behalf.
I understand they have sent a questionnaire to residents to help gather the information necessary to complete the study. I apologize for not providing advance notice of this mailing. However, I was unaware that the questionnaire was being sent. Nonetheless, the information requested it important to this part of the process.
Please complete the questionnaire and return it at your immediate convenience. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
