Civic participation is the cornerstone of our democracy. Having a strong voter turnout from Edgemont is one way that our community is able to influence change and strengthen the advocacy efforts of the Edgemont Community Council.
With the 2026 General Election approaching on Tuesday, November 3, I want to remind residents of several important voting deadlines and encourage everyone to make sure they are registered and have a plan to vote.
Westchester County residents can confirm polling places and hours, access early voting and absentee or early mail ballot information, and find other voting resources on the Westchester County Board of Elections website, citizenparticipation.westchestergov.com.
New Yorkers can check their voter registration with the NY State Board of Elections at voterlookup.elections.ny.gov.
To register to vote, visit the Westchester County Board of Elections at citizenparticipation.westchestergov.com/register-to-vote. The last day to register to vote in time for the 2026 General Election is October 24, 2026.
