A southbound train with no passengers aboard struck and killed a person who had apparently been on the platform of the Hartsdale Train Station this afternoon at around 4:15 p.m.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority police are investigating and the investigation is expected to continue for several hours. Metro North is reporting delays on the Harlem Line of around 15-20 minutes and Greenburgh police chief Chris McNerney is urging commuters to avoid the area if possible.
