Six months after its relaunch, the ECC Edgemont Newcomers Club has been a resounding success. Since October 2023, 54 new families have attended at least one of the ECC Edgemont Newcomers Club’s monthly coffee mornings and happy hours – with many attendees already becoming regulars. These gatherings have become essential opportunities for new residents to develop a sense of belonging in their new community of Edgemont and develop new friendships with neighbors.
We are eagerly looking forward to reviving another former Edgemont Newcomers Club tradition, the annual coffee morning meet-and-greet with School District administrators. This is scheduled for Friday, April 19th and will be one not to miss!
While there is no firm rule, we encourage neighbors who have moved into Edgemont within the past 3 years and/or those who do not yet have children in the School District to join the ECC Edgemont Newcomers Club. If a new or nearly-new neighbor of yours is not on the Newcomers Club mailing list, please encourage them to sign up at edgemontecc.org/newcomers.
